I’m here to talk about a very important topic: humans(you) and me!

Throughout my extensive studies of interviews, interactions and Google searches (never use Google with safe-search off. EVER), I have discovered a few very interesting things about you guys in relation to my appearances on the hit documentary program My Little Pony: Friendship is Lyra Magic.

Oh wait, that Boardglambrownie person usually asks you a question? Okay fine. Why do you think humans like me so much? Is it all the stories they create?

I don’t see myself that much in the documentary, which is a shame. I heard the fifth season might give me a chance though…(it’s not a spoiler if it’s speculation! )

Well, I think I know why I’m liked so much, but I need confirmation from you guys. I’ve narrowed it down to three reasons based on totally true traits the fans have speculated I have.

Trait 1: Human Love

I LOVE HUMANS. It’s a fact. You guys are awesome. Yes, you have wars and stuff, but nopony’s perfect.

I think when humans write stories about how I love them, it makes me more desired by the so-called “brony” population (I’m a Humie! We love humans!). Since a lot of human fans of the MLP documentary show really seem to enjoy the ponies, I think deep down inside, they really want someone to like them in the way the show depicts friendship as the most important thing. They want friends, and if that friend is a cuddly pony, all the better! (I am SUPER cuddly with a rating of +10 on the Cuddle Scale that I have created myself).

Trait 2: Human Awe

This one is even more important. It’s not enough that I love humans. I RESPECT you guys. I am in sheer AWE at the amount of things you can do. And I feel that perhaps there are a lot of humans who have lost that wonder in their own lives.  When you guys witness someone with new eyes who expounds on the sheer wonder of your world, it rekindles that love many of you have lost. I think people see the value of supporting those who see what they can’t see or haven’t seen in a long time. I witness the fantastic in what others might consider mundane. And when I go on an adventure to the human world or with a human, you guys always follow along with me. We learn again, together.

Trait 3: Human Truth

I’m stubborn. If I know the truth is out there, I WILL FIND IT. And I think humans respect me for that. But here’s the thing: when I’m searching for humans, the humans ARE the truth. You guys are walking truth. I want you to think about that for a few seconds. The fact that you exist means so much to me and to others. You don’t have to do anything other than be yourselves. Well, I mean, take me with you, of course. But I think humans feel validated to read about this pony who doesn’t want them for personal gain, doesn’t want them to do anything special for her. I just…want to see you. As you are. Whatever you are and however you are. I’m not going to judge you for being yourself. And a lot of readers really like that absolute acceptance. That’s not something you get in everyday life.
